25th Annual Plant Sale to Benefit Nature Center at Shaker Lakes,
Saturday, May 12
Annual Plant Sale Helps Keep Center's Mission Alive

Nature Center at Shaker Lakes
What:
The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes will hold its 25th
Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 12. Purchase annuals, perennials,
herbs, hanging baskets, and native plants. Plants potted and donated
by local gardeners will also be sold. All proceeds benefit the Nature
Center. New this year, view plants and order online at www.ShakerLakes.org.
Order forms can be obtained by calling (216) 321-5935.
Volunteers are also needed to help staff this event. For more information on volunteering, call Sara Thorne-Briechle, program and volunteer manager, at (216) 321-5935 x 237.

Why:
The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to conserving a natural area, connecting people with nature,
and inspiring environmental stewardship. For the past 24 years,
Plant Sale proceeds have helped support educational programs; the
Nature Center's newsletter; the construction of the outdoor Friends
Pavilion and other projects.
