Bug Bash + Chrysalis

Sunday, June 22, 3 to 9 p.m.
Clear your calendars now for this summer's highly anticipated Bug Bash event on Sunday, June 22, from 3 to 9 p.m. The traditional "Bug Bash," geared toward children up to age 8, takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. Then it undergoes a metamorphosis to become the "Chrysalis" from 6 to 9 p.m., ideal for youth ages 9 to 14. Parents are invited to enjoy the "pest bar," with wine selections provided courtesy of Trader Joe's.

This year's theme, "We Speak for the Trees" focuses on the mutual dependence that humans and trees have on each other for survival. As in the Nature Center's  mission, it's our responsibility to conserve a natural area, connect people with nature and inspire environmental stewardship.
