Party in the Park at the Nature

Lakes' Mixer on the Marsh and
Mixer After-Party, July 19
Celebrate Summer at the Nature
Center's Annual Mixer Event
CLEVELAND (June 19) – The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes today announced its 2nd
Annual Mixer on the Marsh, Thursday, July 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mixer
on the Marsh will allow guests to experience life on the marsh at dusk, while
enjoying cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment on the Center's elevated
boardwalk overlooking the marsh.
"We hope through this friend-raising event to
continue to engage the community with our mission," said Tina
Haldiman, marketing manager. "Mixer on the Marsh is a great
way for adults and young professionals to mingle and learn about the Center while
enjoying a summer evening in the Shaker Parklands."
Registration for this event
is required and newcomers will receive a complimentary membership with
registration. Fees for Mixer on the Marsh are a $10 donation for members and

invited to bring a colorful bottle of wine to share. Glass pieces from empty bottles
will be used in the creation of a mosaic window for the Stewardship
Center currently under
construction.
Following the Mixer, the
party continues at the Mixer After-Party, from 8
to 11 p.m. at the B-Side Liquor
Lounge, 2785 Euclid Heights Blvd.
Enjoy live performances and indoor and outdoor cash bars. A $5 cover charge
applies, with all proceeds benefiting the Nature
Center. Musical entertainment will
include performances by local artists Xela, Billy Catfish and Ngina Fayola.
Mixer on the Marsh and the
Mixer After-Party are open to adults 21 and over.
