Nature Center's Big Game Hunters Club Celebrates the Snow with Sledding in the Park
Nature Center at Shaker Lakes New Adult Sports and Games Club Continues in February
Who: Nature Center at Shaker Lakes
What: Join the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes' Big Game Hunters Club this month for a fun-filled afternoon in the snow. Bring your own sled or saucer for an exhilarating afternoon of sledding at Thornton Park. This is a great way for adults 21 and over to meet new people while enjoying the winter and playing in the snow.
The Big Game Hunters Club is the Nature Center's monthly group for adults 21 and over interested in both indoor and outdoor games ranging from dodge ball and kickball to board games and bocce.
When: Saturday, Feb. 24, 3:30 p.m.
Where: Meet at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, 2600 South Park Blvd.

Why: The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to conserving a natural area, connecting people with nature, and inspiring environmental stewardship. This club will allow young professionals, graduate students and anyone else with an interest in alternative club sports and games to participate in a variety of friendly games and sport competitions each month, both indoors and outdoors on the Nature Center's grounds and throughout the Shaker Parklands and Doan Brook Watershed.
