You are never too young to start learning about nature! Bring your young child to the Nature Center for a morning outing once a month. Each naturalist-led program offers enrichment for both the adult and the child, and demonstrates ways to share nature together. Babes in Nature
For ages 2 months to 2 years with caregiver, offered the second Tuesday of each month, 10 to 10:45 am. Fee per stroller $5 members, $7 non-members.
March 13 — Fuzzy Winter Explorers
We’ll look for mammals around the Nature Center.
April 10 — Wake Up, Spring!
As spring wakes up after it’s long winter nap, there is a lot of new growth to explore.
BIG/little
For ages 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 years with caregiver, offered the third Monday of each month, 10 to 11:30 am. $8 for members; $12 for non-members.
February 20 — Night & Day
No matter whether it is night or day, there are animals to be found around the nature center. But why do they come out at different times and do some of these animals ever see one another?
March 19 — Muckity Mud
Spring is on its way and we all know that means a muddy mess from all of those refreshing spring showers. Bring those rain jackets and boots as we learn what makes mud and the unique properties of soil!
April 16 — Earth Friends
April 22 is Earth Day. Let’s learn how to help the Earth and have fun doing it!
