Available Programs:
Animal Classification 2-3hrs
Students will use a dichotomous key
to identify and classify animal skins and skulls. Discussion of
Linnaean classification system. Must have LCD capabilities.
Birds! 1 hour
Learn about Ohio's birds through bird calls, ID, and instruciton on binoculars. Optional owl pellet dissection.
Reptiles and Amphibians 1 hour
Students learn about the
differences between reptiles and amphibians, including life cycles and
general characteristics. Presented with live guests!
Water Quality 1 hour
Students will use chemical testing to determine the quality of their school water and water from a local natural source.
We can also customize a program to suit the needs of your class.
