B'Earthday Parties
What better way to celebrate your child's birthday than to have a B'Earthday party at the Nature Center? Create a unique party for your children to celebrate their special day the natural way!
Your party will include:

Room rental for three hours

Dessert dishes, cups and utensils, if you wish.

An hour-long program led by a naturalist. Choose from one of the following:

Non-edible B'Earthday cake
Ideal for 3-to-7-year-olds
We'll celebrate by collecting naturally occurring ingredients from the outdoors to make a B'Earthday cake for our wild friends who live outside. -
Scavenger Hunt
Ideal for 7-to-12-year-olds
We'll explore the marsh, field and forest of the Nature Center to find a list of items. -
Letterboxing Parties in the woods

Seasonal Leaf Hunt - take home leaf rubbing

Seasonal Bingo outdoor trek

Animal Tracking
-
Shelter Building using "survivor" skills
Special Themes could include:
Bugs; flowers, leaves, seeds, bark (trees), animal homes (counting burrows, nests, etc.) animal tracks; food chain/web, seasonal scavenger hunt. Discuss what your child's interest is with the naturalist leading your party.

We are counting on you to:

Supervise the party

Put up and take down decorations

Make sure the educational items in the room are used properly and put away

Clean room when the party is over

Have at least two adult chaperones
Fees are for parties of 12 children. Additional children are $4.50 per person. Siblings of the birthday child 2 and under are at no additional charge.
