I'd like to help build the strawbale wall.

Building the strawbale wall involves trimming, lifting, and pinning bales of straw. Each bale weighs about 30 pounds, so be ready for some heavy lifting. Volunteers should be 16 or older. Four shifts are available: Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16 from either 8 a.m. to 12 noon or 1 to 5 p.m.

I'd like to help build the cob walls.

Building the cob walls involves creating a mixture of clay, sand, and straw, then helping to assemble the walls. This is a very messy project, so dress accordingly! Supervised children can help with mixing. Otherwise, volunteers should be 16 or older. Two shifts are available every Saturday and Sunday starting Saturday, September 22 through the end of October. Please choose a shift below:
