Our winter wonderland gives us a great glimpse into the animals that call the Nature Center grounds home. Join us for a wintery expedition into the lives of the animals that we rarely get to see. $5 per person.
Pancake Breakfast with the Birds
Saturday, February 25, 8 am to noon
Join the Nature Center and the Rotary Club of Shaker Heights for a pancake breakfast with the birds! Learn about the habits and habitats of birds, see live birds of prey, enjoy activity stations with crafts and take a guided nature hike. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Shaker Heights Third Grade Dictionary Project and the Nature Center. $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 4-10. Children under 3 are free.
Experiential Gardening Workshop for Families
Saturday, March 3, 10 to noon
Learn some easy ways to start your seeds inside and get a head start on your garden. Windows or minimal additional lighting are all you need. Part of the Shaker Heights “Green and Growing” Centennial Celebration. $7.50 per person, which includes seed, soil, and materials.
